Melodic Devices Pt 1 Homework -
Here's a link to my attempt. Not sure in Ex 27 if extending the cell across 2 bars is something he wanted us to do (I know it's America, but...)

Blues & Rock Guitar Solos - Lead Guitar Series Vol.1
Country & Country Rock Guitar Solos - Lead Guitar Series Vol.2
Hi everybody,
I'm in search for these two methods by Rich (back in the 80s 🥲) but I can't find them anywhere on the internet.
Also tried to search for them here on the library but no results. Anyone may help me?
Thanks!
This may be wrong but in the Altered Dom lesson, the resolutions reminded me of the beginning of “I Can’t Help It” by Stevie Wonder. I guess he is going tritone sub for 5 to 1. Then the song goes a different, more cheerful direction. Your thumbline melodies reminded me of that first part though. Ok that’s all. 😉
Hi! Newly subscribed here. Can we make requests? I’d love a breakdown on Carla Bley’s Lawns. I know it’s a ballad and the melody is simple, but the harmony is different for me and I’d love a lesson on how to approach it. It’s haunting me right now! I guess Sco did it but for some reason swang it vs straight 8s 😀. Please excuse if requests are gauche. 😌
Modeling Amps
On the heels of Rich’s discussion on the Fender Mustang Micro Pro, I was curious if anyone uses modeling amps? I currently have a Marshall Code 50 and a Yamaha THR10ii (20 watts). The Yamaha is a great small practice amp.
Any thoughts?
If anyone is interested, my you tube channel!! I am a new member that likes 1930's jazz guitar!!
Anyone else doing the walking bass with comping exercise that Rich asked us to at the live event?
I’m trying to listen to theory on the go using my iPhone. It make me download the file but then I can’t play it. Any help??
