Just saying hi I went to test office but was too late sorry I was just checking my emails and noticed. Thanks for everything I got my tickets to the events. Happy New YearÂ
Hey Guys!
Quick heads up on two things.
First — early bird pricing for the Central Coast Jazz Guitar Fest ends on the 15th.
Same weekend, same access. Price goes up after that.
Tickets and details:
https://jazzguitarfest.com/tickets
Second — a quick scheduling note.
We’re trying a new time slot for our YouTube livestream tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:00 pm, instead of our usual Thursday at 11:00 am.
We’re experimenting a bit with some new live offerings inside the Guitar College Library and adjusting time slots to see what works best.
We’ll send a reminder email tomorrow with the link before we go live.
That’s it for now.
Keep pickin’,
Rich
Fun discussion with Tommy Tedesco at the Musicians Institute. When you want to listen to a storyteller, give it a try.
I just saw the promo for Theory for the Road. I'm interested, how do I get into it? A new year is a good time for a solid review!Â
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We are grateful for each and everyone of you!! Wes just posted a special thank you message about a brand new FREE lesson! Check out the short holiday message here:Â https://youtube.com/shorts/4roNvfhuuoY?feature=share

The Live Guitar College presentation: What am I doing wrong in connecting to the live chat feature? I can see the video and chat window but I can't add any comments. Any suggestions?
Rich Severson In these blues shuffle lessons I would like clarification on the notation. Take the first 4 measures after the pickups in Blues Shuffle Solo 1 as the example. The notation uses "B" to denote bends, "p" for pull-offs, and "h" for hammer-ons BUT what does "L" denote?
Also, there are numbers in vertical ovals over certain notes, what do those denote? For example, measure 2 has the numbers 2 and 9 encircled by a vertical ovals over a single note of "f" bring bent up from the "e" note just below it. The same notation is used in the tab. What does this mean?
